JAPANİSM AND VAN GOGH


Primitive, exotic, popular cultural and artistic structures are among the primary reference sources when needed. Western art, in the process of modernization, consists of Japanese culture and art, which are included in the scope of exotic culture and art; in particular, he was heavily influenced and nourished by the unusual approaches in Japanese woodblock paintings. Vincent Van Gogh is one of the most prominent artists in influencing, and this has led him to turn to completely different approaches in his recent work. The research is very important in determining these and it is the hope of presenting the insights expressed by the artist together with their starting points and justifications, and thereby gaining a different perspective; the main thing is the purpose. Accordingly, the studies in the study have been guided by the literature review and document review method. It was also seen in the research that Japanese culture and art, especially Japanese woodblock paintings; Vincent Van Gogh has had decisive and guiding effects in his recent works.
