Konusunu genellikle tarihten, mitolojiden, efsanelerden veya güncel olaylardan alarak duygu ve düşünceleri müzikle ifade eden bir mesaj halinde seyirciye ileten, bunu yaparken de araç olarak, rol üstlenen oyuncular ile sahne üzerinde canlandırma tekniğinin kullanıldığı, aynı zamanda ortam – zaman – mekan olguları ile örtüşür nitelikte dekor, kostüm, makyaj, aksesuar, ışık vb. teknik unsurların kullanılması yöntemi ile temsil edilen opera sanatı, dramatik sahne sanatları içerisinde, belki de en kapsamlısı olarak yerini almaktadır. Tiyatro sanatında olduğu gibi opera sanatında da amaç, iletilmek istenen mesajın yazılı bir metinden yola çıkarak görsel ve işitsel (müziksel) unsurlar ile işlenerek, bir aksiyonlar bütünü halinde yaşamın canlandırılmış bir kesiti olarak seyircinin gözleri önüne serilmesidir. Dramatik eserlerde, eserin yaratılması sırasında hikayenin içeriğini meydana getiren olayların birbirini takip eden bir plan içerisinde yapılandırılması, izleyicini ilgisinin, verilmek istenen mesaj üzerine yoğunlaşması ve sonuç çıkarma bağlamında yaşayabileceği her türlü çözümsel karmaşadan uzaklaşması konusunda önem arz etmektedir. Nitel araştırma yönteminde doküman İnceleme ve betimsel analiz yaklaşımıyla yürütülmüş olan bu araştırmada, dramatik sahne eserlerinin meydana geldiği yapı unsurlarına değinilerek, dramatik bir tür olarak bilinen opera sanatında bu yapının “olaylar dizisi” bağlamındaki işlenişinin değerlendirmesi olarak ÖZSOY OPERASI’nın incelenmesine yer verilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonunda, Özsoy Operası’nın dramatik yapısı içindeki bitiş bölümü olaylar dizi bağlamında ele alınmış, her zaman sahneye koyulmaya uygun bir hale getirilerek ana fikri nesilden nesile aktaran değerli bir eser olarak günümüz opera repertuarında yer alabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The subject is generally taken from history, mythology, legends or current events, conveying the feelings and thoughts to the audience as a message that expresses them with music , and whilw doing this, the animation technique is used on  the stage with the actor playing a role as a tool. Decor, costumes, make-up, accessories, light, etc. The art of using technical elements, takes its place as perhaps the most comprehensive of the dramatic performing arts. As in the art of theater, the aim in the art of opera is to reveal the message to the audience as an animated section  of life as a set of actions, by processing the message to be conveyed with visual and auditory (musical)elements, starting from a written text.  In dramatic works, structuring the events that make up the content of the story in a successive plan during the creation of the work is important in terms of focusing the attention of the audience on the message to be given and avoiding all kinds of analytical confusion that may be experienced in the context of drawing conclusions. In this research, which was carried out with the approach of document review and descriptive analysis in the qualitative research method, the structural elements of the dramatic stage works were mentioned, and the examination of ÖZSOY OPERA was included as an evaluation of the processing of this structure in the context of "sequence of events" in the art of opera, which is known as a dramatic genre. At the end of the research, the ending part in the dramatic structure of Özsoy Opera was handled in the context of the series of events, and it was concluded that it can be included in today's opera repertoire as a valuable work that transfers the main idea from generation to generation by always making it suitable for the stage.
