Art and technology have constantly influenced each other and developed together over the centuries, bringing with them important cultural changes. In the past, tools were used to produce art on canvases, whereas today, artists who use computers to create art use a wide variety of computer software and hardware as materials when creating their works. Such practices are mutual imitations of technology to produce new works of art. There are many examples of works of art that combine these two elements. Therefore, while new works of art adapt to technology, they also develop in parallel with artificial intelligence, computer and digital technology. While artificial intelligence functions in the context of lifestyles and uses compatible with technology, the techno-cultural structure we are in also reveals different ways of creating works of art. While artificial intelligence expands the boundaries of the artistic field of work, it creates new forms of expression and changes artists' perceptions and ways of thinking. This article also aims to reveal the role and transformative power of artificial intelligence in the art world by evaluating its algorithmic working principles and production processes. It aims to clarify new possibilities by analyzing the issues between art medium and artistic creation, the relationship between art and reality, the impact of technology on works, and the developments in information technology and contemporary art. The main purpose of the research is to examine the effects of changes in social structure and technology on the production process of artists, their perception of art and artistic phenomena, focusing on artificial intelligence.
