IMPRESSIONIST ARTISTS' STYLE, COLOR AND TECHNICAL APPROACH AND THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO TODAY'S ARTISTS

The Impressionist movement, which emerged in France in the 19th century,  has opened new possibities in the art scene, that was made with the traditional rules of the period, with its new style and technical understanding. Pale-colored paintings made indoors have been replaced over time by vibrant colors and wide landscapes with windows opening outwards. Impressionist painters included the daily lives of the people and tried to capture that moment, light and perspective by adding mobility to their works with brush strokes. Impressionist artists, who can express themselves freely, have started a new trend that has survived to the present day with the colors, materials and space perception they use, and they have made the classical and slow-working art understanding lighter and more functional. In this article, the contributions of the impressionist artists with their style, color and technical understanding to today's artists are presented by examining the relevant literature and the information in the interactive environment with a qualitative approach.
