Disembodied and Transformable Clothes on a Sustainability Basis

Textile production is one of the sectors that creates environmental pollution. The globalized world, increasing population density and frequent change in fashion trends are causing increases in production and consumption. This frequent change in fashion trends affects not only clothes, but also the body perceptions of individuals by liking the bodies seen in the advertisements. Various psychological and emotional effects occur in individuals who do not conform to these body perceptions formed by advertisements in society.

In this study, designs were made that can be worn by every individual in the size   ranges of 34-42 (XS-L) and 44-50 (XL-5XL) instead of separate mols that can grow from 34 sizes to 50 sizes created with average body sizes on the basis of sustainable fashion. With this study, it is aimed to provide a solution to the necessity of people to wear certain bodies due to the use of a single product in more ways than one and the ever-changing perception of beauty in our age. Geometric pattern schemes have been studied to reduce the waste fabrics resulting from the cutting of patterns. Itis expected that the products will contribute to slow fashion with their functionality, multiple use and pattern characteristics that can fit into any size. It is detailed how many different ways the products can be worn. It has been noted that design patterns can be cut and sewn in accordance with ready-to-wear. Designs are interpreted from a different point of view through the principle of sustainability and body patterns.
