In Pre-school and Primary School Teachers (Due To Lack Of Field Dominance) Lack Of Confidence In Art


Some teachers who do not have the necessary artistic skills in art education, who do not have enough knowledge during their undergraduate period and cannot develop themselves at the desired level during this period feel a lack of self-confidence in art. The perception of art as a privilege that requires special abilities and which is found in a small number of people or especially people who have received this education since childhood, is effective in teachers' accepting themselves inadequate in this field. With this study, these concerns of both preschool teachers and primary school teachers are unnecessary because the prerequisite of being successful in the field of art education is to participate in art education and to be included in it. is intended to be removed. The research study was implemented during the 2019-2020 Education period and the art activity and visual arts course in these schools were discussed jointly with the candidates and teachers who worked in pre-school and primary schools under the Directorate of National Education throughout the province of Van. In the research study, the teachers in question felt a lack of self-confidence in the art, and used a factual pattern from qualitative research patterns. As a data collection tool, the data obtained by examining the results in the interview form as a result of interviews with teachers were recorded by semi-interview method and observation method was used.
